CAPC has 3 main plant including:
1. Ethylene Plant
Ethylene Plant using technology licensed from Lummus Crest technology (LCT) from the USA, with a design capacity of 550,000 T / year ethylene, 242,000 T / year pyrolisis gasoline.
2. Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) Plant
LLDPE Plant using technology licensed from union Carbide Chemical and Plastic Company Inc.., (UNIPOL) from the USA. LLDPE plant to produce low density polyethylene through a process polimerisasi in sebush with the gas phase fluidized bed reactor, with a design capacity of 200,000 T / year.
3. High Density Polyethelene (HDPE) plant
HDPE Plant using technology licensed from Showa Denko Kk., (SDK) of Japan. HDPE Plant produces high density polyethylene process polemerisasi monomodal and bimodal with the slurry reactor, with a design capacity of 100,000 T / year.
Ethylene product produced by PT. CAPC most used alone as the raw material for LLDPE and HDPE Plant, and some sold to PT. And PT PENI. Asahimas chemical that produces polyethylene and polivinilcloride (PVC). Propylene products are sold to PT. Try Polyta Indonesia (TPI) that produce Polypropylene.
